The Piano switch by Durock is the company's newest switch offering utilizing full POM construction. POM is a plastic known for its low friction and self-lubricating properties. In practice, this translates to an extremely smooth linear switch that will not degrade over time, and may in fact improve over time.

Durock offers the switch in two variants, one with lube applied at the factory during assembly, and the other 'dry' with no factory lube applied. We carry both options as generally factory lube/no lube or applying lube yourself is simply personal preference.
